SOCIAL: IS MODERN MUSIC A FORM OF GOSSIP?

Music in this day and age has become a way for people to express their expirience.  Gossip on the otherhand can be defined as, "casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true."  The way music becomes gossip is when artist make songs about their expirience relating it to people in their past.  It is a way for artist to convey and have their audience learn from their expirience.  Through story telling the artist achieves intrguing his or her audience.  This intrigue allows for people to talk and in this talking these people become aware and they can fix the problems in their own lives that resemble the gossip being conveyed.  Music is a form of communication that allows artist to have a higher probability of affecting emotion.  Through this, people are stimulated to act.  Regaurdless, it is our belief that this is the way forward for music and we encourage that people share their expirience in this way.  Its a way to support freedom of speech and freedom of expression of both which are proponents of the western ideology.
